Characters and animations have the special power to bring any strong heart under their control. They are capable of dissolving any broken heart. The funny and interesting cartoon characters have the wonderful ability to make others smile and to be happy always. Peter Pan is a special creation in this manner and we all are aware of the fact that how much we love him.

The cute little boy with his hesitance to growth started dominating our minds and dreams by his unique but varying appearance. We have never been doubtful about his age and have we ever given a try to check his age at any point of time. Basically he is a boy who hates growing in age and we have always kept this in mind whenever we think about him.

His original portray was that of a boy of seven days old. In fact he has appeared in various ages at different points of his life. After his first appearance as a boy of days, he started appearing as a grown up boy in the successive stories by Barrie. The story has clear evidences to prove that he is older and has teeth even.

Barrie, the creator in his stories later noticed that Peter Pan has all baby teeth and so it is evident that he is grown up now. The model of Peter Pan that was supposed to be erected was done with the help of a series of photographs. These photos turned out to be that of a boy of six years of age. Very old illustrations of Peter Pan came out to be in this model of a six year old boy.

When Disney adaptation happened in the year of 1953, the story had Peter Pan in his late childhood. The story showed a boy who is between the age of ten and thirteen. The voice dubbed for Peter Pan in those movies was that of a fifteen year old boy.

The actors who came to present Peter Pan has changed their age during the course of filming the live action movie. The boy actor was around thirteen when he started with the filming. We can see that once the filming was over, he was around 14 years of age. He looked older in appearance also. The movies at various points bring to our notice that Peter Pan has left the Neverland for several years for the sake of his eternal, ever youth life. There are dialogues which help us, the audience to have a judgment on the age of our favorite hero.

Since age was not a barrier for our affection towards Peter Pan, we have never considered a factor when reading books on the character. We have never seen the movies with suspicion when they portrayed Peter Pan according to the imagination and their creativity. We never questioned the scenes or scenarios of the movie even when they were not acceptable to our brilliance. This is in fact the success of Peter Pan stories.
